My nan and grandad left Ireland for England in 40’s to 50’s. As far as I can understand they lived in Carrick on Suir and may have owned/run a fish and chip shop.
My grandfathers name was william keating and my gran was bridget darmady. I’m trying to trace back as far as possible and am in Waterford in july to do so, does anyone have any info that may be helpful to me?!…it’s along shot but you never know!
