MARGUERITE E KEATING FROSTBURG — Marguerite E. Keating, 85, of 11 W. Main St., Frostburg, died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2002, at Sacred Heart Hospital. Born Sept. 29, 1917, in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret (Niner) Youngerman. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, George Tippen and her second husband, Charles Keating; one grandson, Charles Keating; one sister, Getrude Moran; and one brother, William Red Youngerman. Mrs. Keating was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church, 25 year member of St. Michaels Church Choir, Court St. Michael Catholic Daughters of the Americas, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 24 and Women of the Moose, Chapter 22. Surviving are three sons, Edward Tippen and wife Sharon, Frostburg, Michael Keating and wife Margie, Baltimore, and Kevin Keating and wife Jill, Cumberland; one daughter, Mary Theresa Eaton and husband Larry, Newport News, Va.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen Brumage, Frostburg; one brother, Harold Youngerman and wife Leota, Frostburg; and a special friend, John Logue. Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home, P.A., 60 W. Main St., Frostburg, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Catholic Daughters of the Americas, will hold a service at the funeral home Friday at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michaels Catholic Church on Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Father Paul A. Byrnes as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Michaels Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Senior Citizens Community Center, Water Street, Frostburg, MD 21532.
