Cousin Tracey & I think the “Right Rev. Dr. Keating, of Wexford” and Dr. James Keating, Bishop of Ferns, 1819 – 1849, are the same person. Only problem here is that a Bishop is referred to as “Most Reverend,” according to a Monsignor who is the archivist at the Diocese of Lansing, MI. The Monsignor thought maybe the “Right Rev.” was a misprint. If the two Keatings are the same person, than we have more information about Margaret Cummins Keating. Her husband was Michael Keating, we believe.
