Roy Shroyer
Roy Shroyer, 67, Fairhope, Pa., died yesterday at his house. He was a retired employe of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
A native of Fairhope, he was a son of the late Jacob and Rose (Clites) Shroyer.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Pearl (Emerick) Shroyer; a daughter, Mrs. James Cummins, Fairhope; a son, T-Sgt. Blaine Leroy Shroyer, with the Air Force at Gettysburg, Pa.; four brothers, Ira Shroyer and Harvey Shroyer, both of Fairhope; James Shroyer, RD 1, Fairhope, and Robert Shroyer, Baltimore.
Eight sisters also survive. They are Mrs. Lillian Klavuhn, Cumberland; Mrs. Ruth Shumaker, Fairhope; Mrs. Nellie Close and Mrs. Rosella Davey, both of Ellerslie; Mrs. Goldie Emerick, RD 1, Hyndman; Mrs. Edna Helmstetter, RD 1, Cumberland; Mrs. Fairy Starkey, Akron, Ohio, and Mrs. Mattie Riall, Salisbury, Md., six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Ziegler Funeral Home in Hyndman today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
