Highwaymen Stab Miner and Escape

Simon Caton, a miner 27 years old of Brownsville, was taken to the Monongahela hospital yesterday suffering from knife wounds in the back and neck. The man claimed that while on his way home Saturday night he was attacked by two men who stabbed him and then ran away. The motive was likely robbery.
