     King Henry Beauclerc I was born circa May 1068 at Selby, Yorkshire, England.4 He was the son of King William I and Matilda of Flanders.2,3 King Henry Beauclerc I married Edith of Scotland, daughter of King of Scotland Malcolm Canmore III and Saint Margaret of Scotland, on 11 November 1100.5,6,7 King Henry Beauclerc I died in December 1135 at St. Denis le Fermont, Normandy.8 He was buried at Reading Abbey.9
