Lewis L. Hobbs was born on 25 September 1804 at Frederick County, Maryland, USA.3 He was the son of Charles Exlam Hobbs and Elizabeth Ogle.1,2 Lewis L. Hobbs married Mary G. J. Ogle, daughter of Samuel Ogle, on 4 October 1825.4 Lewis L. Hobbs died on 22 August 1840 at age 35.
