     Matthias Schrupp was born circa December 1746.2 He married Maria Barbara Mectanielin, daughter of (?) McDaniel, on 29 April 1771.1 Matthias Schrupp died on 15 October 1822.3 He was buried after 15 October 1822 at Cresaptown Union Lutheran/Reformed Church Cemetery, Cresaptown, Frederick County, Maryland, USA.4
