Candice Clara Weddle married Samuel Augustine Hobbs, son of Lewis L. Hobbs and Mary G. J. Ogle, on 12 February 1861.³ Candice Clara Weddle died on 4 October 1896 at age 56.^4,5 She was buried at St. Peter's Cemetery, Baltimore, Maryland, USA.⁶
